Celebrate the Woodbine Chamber
We wanted to create this event to yearly celebrate our achievements as an organization. For example in the past year:
- we adopted a new name,
-completed stabilizing work to the cupola bell tower,
—progressed strategically on our path to building ownership,
- helped raise over $10,000 for other orgs
- launched our largest and most formailzed residency program, supporting 6 local artists
- fiscal sponsored a Fund For The Arts Mini Grant for a performance by Saw Peep
- recruited 5 new board members, significantly reduced the median age of the board, and have more artists on the board than ever before
- released a free compilation of live recordings
- BIGGEST NEWS of all, we created monumental progress toward receiving ownership of our two buildings from our parent organization, Vernon Robertson Urban Charities, Inc.
